Photography & Videography Policy
The RFC Photography & Videography Policy
1. General Guidelines
•Photography and videography are permitted (and very welcomed!) in all areas of The RFC as long as they do not disrupt other members or operations. If you have questions on what constitutes disruptive behavior, please contact us.
•Members must be respectful of others’ space and avoid recording individuals without their consent.
2. Filming During Regular Business Hours
•Members may use the common spaces for photography/videography during regular hours but may have to work around other members. To avoid any disturbances, we suggest reserving a private room.
•Exclusive use of any area during business hours is not guaranteed without prior approval.
3. Private Use
•Members can rent The RFC outside of normal business hours for private photography or videography sessions.
•The rental rate is $75 per hour with a 2-hour minimum on week days, and a 3-hour minimum on weekends.
•Reservations must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
4. Videographer Coordination
•We strongly encourage videographers to reach out ahead of time so we can coordinate our cabinetry schedule. We can help inform you of down times or arrange times where there will be less overall disturbances if sound is an important aspect for your video. Hopefully, this will diminish the potential of extra noise or unnecessary disruption.
•We will do our best to direct incoming members to spaces or rooms that are not disruptive to your filming.
•While we will do our best to accommodate, The RFC cannot guarantee a completely quiet environment during business hours. Please keep in mind that this is a functioning business so it is common for other members, delivery people and staff to be coming and going.
Room Booking Policy
The RFC Room Booking Policy
Booking Guidelines
•Rooms at The RFC can be booked on our member portal and app for a specified time slot based on availability.
•Members may only book one room at a time unless prior approval is obtained from management.
•Members must vacate the room at the scheduled end time to ensure availability for the next reservation. Late arrival does not extend your time in your reserved room.
•If additional time is needed, members must check with management and may only extend their booking if the room is available.
2. Cancellations & Rescheduling
•If you no longer need your reservation, please cancel or reschedule as soon as possible to allow others the opportunity to book the space.
3. No-Show Policy
•If you do not show up for your scheduled booking within 15 minutes of the start time, your reservation may be forfeited, and the room may be reassigned.
•Repeated no-shows may result in a temporary suspension of booking privileges.
4. Enforcement & Exceptions
•The RFC reserves the right to review and modify reservations as needed.
•Special accommodations may be granted at management’s discretion.
By booking a room at The RFC, you agree to abide by this policy. Failure to comply may result in restrictions on future bookings.
Guest Policy
The RFC Guest Policy
What is a guest?
• A guest is any non-recurring person who accompanies an RFC member into the facility. The same individual may not visit as a guest more than twice per month and six times per year, regardless of which member brings them.
If a guest wishes to visit more frequently, they are encouraged to explore membership options or contact us directly.
1. Guest Allowance
•A regular monthly membership includes two (2) guest passes per month. This means that members can bring two (2) non-recurring people into the space with them during a one (1) month calendar period. Additional one day guest passes and unlimited guest passes may be purchased if you intend on bring more than two (2) guests in a month.
•Members with unlimited guest passes can bring an unlimited amount of non-recurring people into the space during a one (1) month calendar period. Guests must still adhere to the definition of guest, and not visit more than twice in a one-month period and six times total in a year. Exceptions may be granted but will be limited.
•Regardless of how many non-members a member can bring to The RFC each month, each member can only have two (2) guests in the space at a time without prior approval from management. This is done case by case and will require approval for each incident.
•Guests must be accompanied by the hosting member at all times while inside The RFC.
- Guest exception:
• Members using the photography room for a scheduled photoshoot may have more than two (2) guests, provided they notify The RFC staff in advance.
• All guests must remain in the photography room for the duration of the photoshoot to avoid disrupting other members.
• Failure to follow this guideline may result in restrictions on future guest privileges.
2. Member Responsibility
•Members are fully responsible for the conduct of their guests.
•Any damage or rule violations caused by a guest may result in consequences for the hosting member.
3. Guest Check-In
•All guests must be checked in by the member through the QR code at the front island or on the member app.
•The hosting member must be present at check-in and remain with their guest throughout the visit.
4. Guest Restrictions
•Guests may not use restricted areas or participate in member-exclusive activities unless explicitly permitted.
•The RFC reserves the right to deny guest entry or limit guest privileges at any time.
5. Policy Enforcement
•Failure to comply with this policy may result in loss of guest privileges or other disciplinary actions.
By bringing a guest to The RFC, members agree to uphold this policy and ensure their guests do the same.
